Good afternoon. Let me start today’s briefing.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Kang Insun will attend the Ukraine Recovery Conference to be held in Berlin, Germany, from June 11 to 12.

At the Conference, Vice Minister Kang will stress the international community’s solidarity and support for assistance to Ukraine, and share the progress in implementing Korea’s Ukraine Peace and Solidarity Initiative.

At the ministerial meeting of the Multi-agency Donor Coordination Platform for Ukraine, Korea, as a new member of the Platform, will reaffirm its will to contribute to supporting the reconstruction of Ukraine.

The Korean government has participated in the Ukraine Recovery Conferences for three consecutive years, following the ones in 2022 and 2023. Through this, the government will continue to take part in the international community’s efforts for the reconstruction and recovery of Ukraine.
