1. The government of the Republic of Korea (ROK) expresses concern over the military operations in the border area between the Republic of Turkey and the Syrian Arab Republic and hopes that the local situation will be stabilized as soon as possible and, in particular, that the damage to civilians will be minimized.

2. The ROK government will continue to cooperate with the international community toward the resolution of the situation in Syria.
