1. The Center for Japanese Studies at the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA)’s Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS), together with Japan’s Research Institute for Peace and Security (RIPS), will host the tenth “Strategic Dialogue for Republic of Korea-Japan Cooperation” at the KNDA Club on October 25.

At the upcoming meeting, the tenth of its kind since the first held in 2007, KNDA Chancellor Yun Duk-min will deliver a keynote speech and Diplomatic Minister Hideo Suzuki of the Japanese Embassy in the ROK congratulatory remarks. The participants will engage in extensive discussions on the ROK-US and US-Japan relations; the ROK-China and Japan-China relations; inter-Korean and North Korea-Japan relations; and the current and future ROK-Japan relations. The dialogue is expected to help the ROK and Japan better understand the situation in the region and advance their bilateral ties.
