1. On October 24, Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se will host a reception for high-level delegations from foreign countries to the third Senior-Level Meeting of the Global Consular Forum (GCF III).

° The reception will bring together some 90 people, including delegations from 30-odd countries and stakeholders of non-governmental organizations.

2. At the reception for high-level delegations, Minister Yun will note with appreciation that the Republic of Korea will a GCF meeting for the first time in Asia. In addition, the Minister will bring attention to the greater global need than ever to protect overseas nationals and upgrade the level of consular services; and will ask delegates from governments and non-governmental organizations to work more closely together to make GCF III an opportunity to step up global cooperation on consular challenges.
