1. The Foreign Ministry’s Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) will hold from August 22 through 26 a diplomacy workshop for 70 college students selected from across the country.

2. The diplomacy workshop for college students has been held during their summer and winter breaks since 2004 to help them learn more about diplomatic issues and build internalization capacity. So far, a combined 2,200 students have taken part in the 44 rounds.

3. The forthcoming workshop will consist of lectures and discussions on various topics, including the Republic of Korea’s public diplomacy, the relations between the ROK and major countries, and Korean communities overseas. On the last day of the workshop, the entire group of the participants will attend a mock international conference.

4. For the next round, which will come in February 2017, the KNDA will give relevant information to colleges across the country and receive applications in December 2016.
