1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a meeting on measures to enhance cyber security at the Foreign Ministry on March 15. In the meeting, chaired by Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Kim Hyoung-zhin, participants reviewed the ongoing efforts of the Foreign Ministry, the Korea National Diplomatic Academy, and subsidiary organizations (Korea Foundation, Korea International Cooperation Agency, and Overseas Koreans Foundation) to enhance cyber security.

Considering the fact that cyber attack attempts by North Korea is continuously increasing in various sectors, participants of the meeting shared latest developments in North Korea’s cyber provocations, and discussed ways for the Foreign Ministry and its subsidiary organizations to work together in responding to cyber attacks.
