1. In view of the worsening security situation in Chad due to the increasing likelihood of terrorism by radical Islamic groups, the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Korea has decided to upgrade the travel-alert level for the capital of N'djamena from the previous Level 2 (Highly Cautious) to Level 3 (Travel Restricted), thereby placing the entire country under Level 3, effective from February 20.

2. ROK nationals planning to travel to Chad are advised to check the updated travel-alert level prior to their trip to ensure safe travel.
