1. Deputy Minister for Multilateral and Global Affairs Kim Bong-hyun will visit Geneva, Switzerland, on February 26-29 to deliver a keynote speech at the 19th High-Level Session of the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) and the Geneva Conference on Disarmament.

2. In his keynote speech at the UNHRC meeting on February 27, he will speak about the assessment and position of the government of the Republic of Korea with regard to the activities of the Council over the past year as well as the human rights situation in various parts of the world, including North Korea.

3. In his keynote speech at the Geneva Conference on Disarmament on February 28, Deputy Minister Kim will highlight the need to vitalize the stalled mechanism, and request international support for the 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit and the denuclearization of North Korea.
