1. The Government of the Republic of Korea offers its deepest sympathy and condolences 
to the government and people of Turkey for the loss of precious lives and massive 
damage to property caused by the great earthquake that struck the southeastern part 
of Turkey on Oct. 23. 

2. The Government of the Republic of Korea hopes for the rescue operations to have 
sucess in minimizing the loss of lives and an early recovery from the damage.

3. The Government of the Republic of Korea will render all possible assistance and 
cooperation, including the dispatch of rescue teams, to support the rescue and recovery 
efforts in Turkey.
